Prior to arriving at Clary Cuts Kennel & Grooming LLC, Please make sure your pets are up to date on all vaccines.

Rabies : By Georgia law, dogs, cats, and ferrets must get rabies vaccination when they are twelve weeks of age or  older and every year after that.   Rabies control falls under the Georgia Department of Health.  You may access their website at http://www.gpc.dhr.georgia.gov.   Rabies vaccinations are only recognized in Georgia when performed by a licensed veterinarian.  Call your veterinarian for more details on rabies shots for your pets.  If your pet is bitten or scratched by a wild animal notify your veterinarian immediately. (source: http://www.agr.georgia.gov/animal-protection-faqs.aspx).  You can request a three year Rabies vaccine from your veterinarian after the initial one year shot.

DHLPP: A yearly vaccine once your puppy reaches adulthood that is administered to immunize your dog against (D)distemper, (H)hepatitis, (L) leptospirosis, (P)parainfluenza and (P)parvovirus.

Bordetella: also known Kennel Cough,  This is a virus that causes a hacking cough and is contiguous to other pets and should be given every 6 months.

Heartworms: Please have your dog tested every year and kept on heartworm preventive, it’s much cheaper to prevent than to treat.  We adopted a pug in 2014 from a local shelter and she tested positive for heartworms, we went through the treatment which is very hard on a dog and you must keep them calm and leash walk them.  MableMable is now free of heartworms and enjoying life in our family.

Flea preventive is also available to keep your pet free of ticks and fleas.
