My name is Michelle Helpingstine, I have been a professional dog groomer for 30 years, I graduated from The Maryland School of Dog Grooming in 1991, which is located in Silver Spring, Maryland. While I was attending grooming school I was introduced to The Bedlington Terrier breed.
I got my first Bedlington terrier after graduating from grooming school. I just fell in love with this breed, I started showing him and made him a Champion. My Bedlington’s were invited to the Westminster Kennel Club dog show in New York City, and have done advertising for grooming products and some television commercials. They also earned Therapy Dog and Canine Good Citizen titles, which allowed them to visit nursing homes and hospitals.
I am currently handling a Peruvian Inca Orchid in the United Kennel Club.
Working with animals is my passion, while in high school I was a kennel technician and worked my way up to the surgical room. I am Pet Tech and K9 CPR Certified, I also attend trade shows annually and I am a member of The National Dog Groomer Association of America, Inc.
I work with shy and handicap pets, and give one-on-one care to your fur family member. I hope to see your pet soon on my table, All grooming is done by appointment only.
